Our Mission
Hawaii Saxophone Foundation's mission is to elevate the awareness and education of the saxophone, with an emphasis on classical music, throughout Hawaii. By fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of music, we aim to enrich the cultural landscape and provide valuable opportunities for both emerging and established saxophonists, contributing to their artistic and professional development.
Our Strategic Plan
Commission new original pieces by composers with emphasis on saxophone
Fund local and mainland clinicians to host workshops and concerts
Fund recordings pertaining, but not exclusive, to classical saxophone
Provide college scholarships to outstanding high school students
Financially support membership with travel expenses for educational trips
