Hawai‘i High School Saxophone Ensemble
About the program
The Hawai‘i High School Saxophone Ensemble (HHSSE) was developed and created by the Hawaii Saxophone Foundation in 2018. It’s comprised of the most talented high school saxophonist from all of Oahu, HHSSE provides and opportunity for young saxophonists to perform alongside the University of Hawai‘i Saxophone Choir.
In addition to making music with students from other schools, members of the HHSSE received numerous masterclasses from Director David Hirano and UH Saxophone Choir Director Todd Yukumoto covering valuable saxophone fundaments and techniques.
